jsPsych / Behavioral experimentsBartosz Maćkiewicz · Five meetings
From one trial to a documented pilot

Build an experiment.
Understand every row.

Predict what should happen, make a small change, run the task, and inspect the evidence. Start with the code labs, then use those ideas in your own workshop files.

First two meetings: local files and explicit downloads. Meeting 3: local JATOS and study transfer. Start a local server in this folder and open http://127.0.0.1:8000/ to run experiments.
MEETING 01

Your first experiment

Build an eight-item lexical-decision task. Explain one response and one timeout row.

MEETING 02

Timelines and trustworthy data

Separate the item list from the procedure. Verify scoring, balance, and summary denominators.

MEETING 03

Practice, control flow, and JATOS

Make practice pass, repeat, or stop. Import, run, export, and transfer a working JATOS study.

MEETING 04

Images and a reliable experience

Preload images, improve instructions, and record evidence from normal and failure paths.

MEETING 05

Pointer data and a complete pilot

Inspect movement events, retrieve a saved result, and finish a documented project.
