Meeting 4: workshop

Deliverable: Four-image shape pilot plus a documented normal and failure path. Work from materials/workshop-starter/; attempt the core tasks before consulting the released reference solution. Pair work is encouraged; switch driver/navigator roles halfway.

W1. Preload and instructions (15 min)

Use the complete four-image list and confirm that the response mapping is clear.

W2. Layout and procedure (20 min)

Use a controlled 220 px stimulus height and randomized order. Inspect rounded/angular scoring and the final summary.

W3. Pilot and project check (25 min)

Record a timeout, missing asset, small viewport, and reopened export. Restore changed paths. Give a partner one concrete project improvement.

Acceptance checks

Four image-task rows in the workshop; circle/ellipse map to F, square/triangle to J. Two rows in the live demonstration (circle and triangle). Preload failure must not silently continue. All-timeout summaries have 0% accuracy and N/A correct RT.

Save the source and one clearly labeled self/synthetic pilot export. This in-class work is formative; graded homework has a separate brief and may require more items.

If you finish early

Compare two reasonable viewport/layout choices or package the task and test extraction in a fresh directory. Explain any accessibility adaptation that changes the measure.

Exit ticket

Show one deliberately tested failure and the evidence that it was handled.
